DIAMONDS' FEATURES GUIDE
found. Check the bellow list.
Price

The Price can be manually typed on each of the two boxes at the ends of the slider. You may type in the desired minimal and maximal prices values but please don't use comma [,] for thousands separator, just type the digits (example: 3000).

Or, you may move the slider cursors to left and right untill dislpaying the minimal and maximal desired values.

Shape

Shape Cut represents the exterior-upper aspect seen from above of a cut and polished diamond, as well as its proportions. Its most common and base shape is the brilliant, the round diamond. All the other cuts are cutting adjustments starting from the round one. As such, any other cut, simpler or more complex, is anyway more expensive than the round one, being considered as Fancy cuts. [See DIAMONDS - 4C's]

Carats

The desired Caract values can be manually typed in each of the boxes from the ends of the slider. Enter the minimal and maximal values you wish, keeping in mind  that is a MUST to type comma for decimals separator - example: 0.5

Or, you can move the cursor left and right until reaching the minimal and maximal desired values.

The CARAT is the international standard measuring unit for the diamonds and for the precious weight. 1 Carat = 0.2 grams  [see DIAMMONDS - 4C's], being the main factor for setting a diamond's price, along with all other important parameters of a diamond's quality.

Important note: being a tridimensional shape and having multiple price calculations criteria, for example, the price difference from 1 ct to 2 ct is not from simple to double, but slightly more.

Attention: Carat is totally different from Karat, which is the gold purity grade, meaning the Fine Gold percentage contained in 1 gram of alloyed gold [example: 750, the equivalent for the 18K gold represents 750 Fine Gold parts available in 1,000 alloy parts]

Culoare

COLOR is the grade of presence or not of a color tint, more intense or less, from very pale to intense into a diamond, depending on certain chemical elements presence into a diamond, other than Carbon (pure Carbon gives total lack of coloring into a diamond), and wich as such contribute to those color tints. Generally, the diamonds with no or less color tints are prefered. Nevertheless, some diamonds with very rare colors (blue, green, pink) may be more expensive than the non-color ones.

The diamonds'color grades scale is pretty much as the Alphabet but starting from D to Z, D being the non-color one, so more expensive, whereas Z is the grade of most undesired color grade, so the cheapest as well being lowest color quality. The most valuable price-quality colors ratio are F-G-H.

Certain natural colors, meaning with no color enhancement done by man (like natural yellow, green, blue, brown-champagne, pink etc) are so rare and that's why are named FANCY colors, being a lot more desired on the market, therefore being more expensive, sometimes being sold at auctions, and having in fact the best price profitabilty over time.

Clarity

Diamond's CLARITY represents the naked eye visibility grade or with the 10X magnifying jewelry loupe of the natural inclusions existance or not, as applicable, inside of e diamond.

The most cost-efficient grades as quality/price ratio of a diamond are VVS2 (Very Very Small 2), VS1 or VS2 (Very Small 1 and 2), and even S1 (Small 1). Whereas FL (Flawless) and IF (Inclusion Flawless) are the purest, inclsuion-less, but the most expensive as well. On the oposite  I1, I2 and I3 (Inclusions or Pique)are the cheapest because the inclusions are more dense and quite visible.

Cut

The Cut grade of a dimamond means how its facetts interact with the light rays in such way that theris shapes, angles and proportions resulted from the diamond cutting process, but in strict correlation with all the others parameters, generates on its top surface that broad return of the intakened light, after being reflected and scintillated inside of the diamond and resulting that unique sparkling which only a diamond can generate - its brilliance.

Fluorescence

The FLUORESCENCE is a pretty minor characteristic of a diamond and is visible only under UV light. A diamond without Fluorescence will look translucent on UV too, but if it has a Fluorescence grade its appearance under UV light will be like is milky-withish-purple colored, intense or fade as more deep is the fluorescence grade, which under the daylight or under artificial light is merely changing its general appearance.

Certificates

Adorri certifies that our offered diamonds are Kimberly Process compliant, are natural and of the quality responsibly mentioned in the stones' certificates issued by the origing stock exchanges as well as in the quality and warranty certificate issued by Adorri Jewelry Maison for any sold jewelry or product,

Polish

Polish means the diamonds' facettes surfaces finishing grades, which influences the diamonds' overall sparklings and general aspect but also its price determination as well. The Polish grades are throughly explained on DIAMONDS-4C's section and for a top quality or at least pretty good one being prefered the Ideal, Excellent (EX) or Very Good (VG) grades.

Symmetry

Diamond's Symmetry is about how symmetric is its Cut, the Symmetry grades being influenced by many factors among the most important are: the facettes symmetry, the crown facetets angles executions, the crown height etc.

It is reccomended to be a grade, if not Ideal or Excellent, at least Very Good. But ocassionally, in corellation with other parameters, even a Good grade might be good and the price slightly better, accordingly. To have a maximal sparkling of a diamond, a maximal brilliance, better avoid the Fair or Poor grades, unless one is looking for the best price, but sacrificing the brilliance.
